Tudor style doll head and hands set

This doll set contains a cast resin head and a matching pair of hands for a 16th century style doll originally sculpted by Michael Perry for The Tudor Tailor. The doll is designed to look like Tudor and Elizabethan examples and was originally made for the reconstruction included in our book, The Tudor Child. The pattern for the 11½ inch (29cm) high doll body can be found in the book.

The design of the doll head and hands is based on several sources, including extant examples and paintings. Please see the photo of the box packaging for specific sources.

We also offer kits with all the required materials to make a complete doll (including the head and hands, plus hair and materials to make the body). That kit is available with blonde, auburn/red and brunette/brown hair.

Please note, this listing is only for the head and hands, not the hair or other materials needed to create an entire doll.
