Completed Tudor style 'Jane Seymour' doll with blonde hair ready for dressing

This charming 16th century style Tudor doll was developed using research undertaken to recreate the doll on the cover of The Tudor Child book. The doll is based on several sources, including extant examples and paintings. 

The doll is made from 100% linen fabric  stuffed with organic kapok. The cast resin head and hands were originally sculpted by Michael Perry and are hand painted. The blond hair has been plaited and dressed to accommodate 16th century style headwear. The arms are wired so that they can be posed.

No clothes are included with the doll but a note with guidance for scaling patterns from the Tudor tailor books series is included.
