Handmade sheep's fleece Tudor style false beards

These false Tudor style beards were made by Sally Pointer for Jane and Ninya when they dressed as men for a presentation at the 'Tailored to a New World' conference in Jamestown, Virginia in 2018.

Sally made the bespoke beards from combed sheep's fleece on a hand-felted base and fitted them with wires to hook over the ears.

Two are dark brown/black fleece with touches of white ('salt and pepper'). The other two are ginger/red. Each is one of a kind. These were designed to match the wigs also worn by Jane and Ninya.

One size.
