These hair lacing kits were developed to reflect The Tudor Tailor's recent research into headwear. They have proved suitable for dressing shoulder-length or longer hair in Tudor style, providing a secure foundation for even the most challenging headdress.
Each hair lacing kit includes a handmade bronze bodkin (blunt, large-eyed needle for threading the linen ribbon and 'sewing' the hair in place) and 3 yards of 100 per cent linen ribbon with a lovely silky feel. The ribbon is ⅜in (10mm) wide and available in 13 different styles. We also offer a 4 yard lace for extra long hair.
