Man's Tudor style long russet wool slops made for The Typical Tudor book and suitable for a labourer or mariner 1510s to 1603.
Made of 100% wool 2/2 twill russet cloth. The slops fasten at the waist with a single horn button and a hand-stitched buttonhole worked in the waistband. The front edges of the fly opening are finished with a woven wool tape. All finishing is by hand and there is no visible machine stitching on the outside.
Worn for one photoshoot only, the slops are in excellent condition.
No other garments are included.

Waist 36in (91.5cm)
Length of leg from waist to hem 34in (86.5cm) (the hem is a generous 2 1/2in (6cm) and could be let down)
