Man's working day coat made for The Typical Tudor book and suitable for a lowly man from 1485-1603
Loose A-line cut coat made of light grey, undyed 'sheep's colour' russet wool and lined with undyed cream wool. The jacket is very warm and cosy and fastens at the front with five pairs of large handmade brass hooks and eyes. All finishing is carried out by hand and no machine stitching is visible inside or outside. Can be worn belted or unbelted.
Worn only for a photoshoot the coat is in excellent condition.
No other garments are included.

Sleeve length 25 1/2in (64.5cm) (worn folded back in photos)
