Man's mid-century Tudor style roundhose made for The Typical Tudor book and suitable for a lowly or middling man from the 1570s to the 1603.
Made of mid-brown 'sheep's colour' (undyed) russet lined with open weave wool to represent the Tudor fabric 'cotton'. The hose features a codpiece and a pair of welts down each side seam, either side of generous working pockets. All finishing is by hand and there is no visible machine stitching on the inside or outside. The waistbamd is worked with hand-stitched eyelet holes for trussing to a doublet.
Worn only for a photoshoot and one presentation the hose is in excellent condition.
No other garments or points are included.
