Man's cassock made as part of the Tudor Tailor's research into mariner's dress and based on finds at Red Bay, Labrador. Suitable for a mariner or other lowly or middling man from the 1540s -1603.
A man's cassock made of dark grey, undyed 'sheep's colour' twill wool lined. The wool has been partially fulled so the weave is obscured. The garment is hemmed around all edges by hand.
Worn only for a photoshoot and small number of events the cassock is in very good condition.
No other garments are included.
