Finished garment - French hood of silk with pearl billiments

Silk French hood of crimson and white satin with a black silk satin veil and Czech pearl billiments. Made over a foundation of wired paste buckram and lined with white linen. Tie fastening at nape of neck for adjustability. The hood has been worn for numerous events and shows some sign of wear, particularly in the pleated gold organza strip which would benefit from replacing.
